Built in the 1820's, Cider Mill Cottage was the original apple press house for the farm and has since been lovingly restored and tastefully furnished throughout whilst still bursting with character and original features.
As you enter the cottage, your eyes are drawn to the stunning stone press and the original chimney, which takes centre stage to the open-plan ground floor. The unique custom made kitchen wraps around one side of the large stone, boasting a traditional Aga and is well-equipped for all your catering needs. At the other end of the room you can enjoy sumptuous seating and a wood burning stove, ensuring Cider Mill Cottage is a comfortable and cosy bolthole throughout the winter months.
The spiral staircase takes you to the first floor, with a spacious landing leading to two bedrooms. The main bedroom boasts a beautiful antique French double bed, and bedroom two with a single bed. Both bedrooms share the family bathroom, with a full height shower over the bath.
The outdoor space has plenty to offer guests, and days can be spent relaxing in the farmhouse gardens at one of the many seating areas where you can take in the spectacular, uninterrupted views from across the fields. Through the warmer summer days, you can take a dip in the heated outside pool, with exclusive use at set times each day.
Nestled at the end of a long farm track, and surrounded by breathtaking countryside views, Cider Mill Cottage, awarded a four star Gold Award by Visit England, is the perfect location to relax and take long countryside walks where you can get away from it all.
