Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: the location was good. the owner was friendly and helpful. there's free on the road parking around the neighbourhood. it's a simple room but good if you just want somewhere to get your head down and don't want to pay crazy London hotel prices.

Negative: a few simple improvements would make it a decent stay. a socket (or extension lead) that reaches by the bed. black out blinds are a must, as it's an east facing window. there's no lock on the bedroom door. although it's rare to be this hot in England, they should be prepared for it. so a fan in the room would be good as it was boiling all night.

Summary: basic but does the job
