Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely situation. Quiet despite close neighbours. Host very easy to contact and helpful. Nice grounds. High standard of cleanliness. Personal key handover was helpful in terms of getting information about the property.

Negative: The kitchen had a washing machine but no dishwasher. I would have definitely preferred it the other way round. I was slightly surprised to be asked to pay extra for the hot tub given that the property was advertised “with hot tub”. I think the advertising should make this clear. Although there appeared to be a lot of parking when we returned from our evening out there were no spaces and we ended up having to park on a grass verge. I presume other properties were for larger numbers and all had come in individual cars?

Summary: For a 2 night stay it was fine. For a longer stay Id have wanted a dishwasher and shower in ensuite
