You’ll find Widemouth Bay a little off the beaten track, tucked away from the main bustle of Bude, but with its own distinct holiday appeal. If you want to access the town, it’s only a short drive away but many opt to spend their days close by, enjoying the beach and the plethora of local amenities. Ocean lovers couldn’t ask for more with a surfbreak on the doorstep, For adventures on two feet the South West Coast Path is just steps away and the endless delights of the north Cornwall coast are just around the corner waiting to be discovered.

With a lawn that would do justice to Andy Murray’s forehand, the gardens are the perfect place to sit and take in the wonderful sea air if you decide that the minute walk to the beach is really just too strenuous.
