This stunning home in the exclusive estate area of Pebble Beach has never before been on the rental market. A major exterior renovation upgrade was completed in early 2016 for the wedding of the owner's daughter. The kitchen underwent a complete overhaul with new custom cabinetry and high end appliances and was completed for the beginning of 2019 . Thermador 6 burner rangetop and stacked swing door ovens (new 2018 technology) along with veggie and wine in-cabinet coolers, Viking side by side refrigerator/freezer, oversized apron sink and prep sink to boot. This kitchen will please the most discerning chef. New to our home in 2020 is a brand new 82" Samsung QLED television. It is a delightful addition to the family room! The light drenched home will rejuvenate your spirit from morning coffee to afternoon cocktails. Bright and spacious, with high vaulted ceilings in abundance, you can spread out and detox from the confines of your daily routine. There are 12 sets of French doors throughout the living spaces to let the sea air in and experience the true seaside retreat. The home features three large king suites, and one queen bedroom. All four bedrooms have private bathroom, two have fireplaces as well as fireplaces in the large great room and family room. 3 of the 4 fireplaces operate by remote for easy use. The upstairs features an extensive library of books relating to art and culture as well as beautiful cozy areas to read or catch up on some emails. The dining area off the main Great room graciously welcomes up to 12 guests for a cozy meal with lively conversation around the contemporary maple double ballistrade extending table. You can adjourn after to any of the comfortable sitting areas in the house, the Great room by the fireplace for conversation and wine, the family room for a movie and cozy couch time, or upstairs to the reading and reflection study. Whether you are traveling for an event, a golf retreat or a family get together, this charming home will provide the tranquil backdrop to a memorable retreat. With considerable gated flat driveway space, you can display vehicles or use the space in a variety of capacities. The large stone courtyard plus landscaped backyard will invite you to enjoy property to the fullest.
The house is a mere 1.5 miles from the Pebble Beach Lodge where fine dining, cocktails and shops await, 4 miles from Spanish Bay with more of the same, just across the street from Crocker Grove, the oldest Cypress grove in the country and a short half mile walk to fanshell overlook and fanshell beach where you are always guaranteed an amazing tidepooling experience at low tide. One of the greatest ocean microcosms you'll find anywhere with a backdrop of sea otters frolicking and often whales migrating past just off shore. The Monterey Bay aquarium often has teams down at this location to gather seaweeds for research and are a great source of information if you happen upon them. Chef Curtis Stone filmed an episode of his show from this sight in recent years as they collected seaweeds to incorporate in a dinner they later prepared. It is one of the most spectacular back yard settings to enjoy for all ages.
We have two young boys and are happy to share our array of child care items. We have many toys, books, a crib, bouncer, changing table, etc.
This is a primary residence and to be able to provide guests with a comfortable usable space, we rearrange our personal belongings before your arrival. This means that we offer only portions of the extensive closets, but PLENTY of space for your travel belongings, if you are 8 guests or less and will not be traveling with children, all of their things with be closed off in the nursery, we have a home office which is our perpetual work space and is not accessible as well as our attic.
