5 Bedroom House in Pierpont Bay, Ventura

House is located in wonderful Pierpont Beach community in City of Ventura, just sixty miles north of Los Angeles and 35 miles south of Santa Barbara. Exact location is "hidden" until a booking is confirmed for privacy, but we are just six houses from the sand, not next to the freeway as the "hidden" locator would indicate.
We are located on one of the nicest lanes in the Pierpont area, with one of the widest stretches of sand in the Pierpont area, close to the volleyball courts at the State Beach, immediate access to the coastal bike/running path and close to retail amenities on South Seaward.
The house sleeps ten in beds; spacious rooms with great views throughout. Up to two additional children under ten are allowed but no separate beds provided. House is great for family gatherings and/or groups of friends. Relax on the top deck or in the lovely back yard after playing at the beach all day.
Three story custom home built by the owners with exacting attention to detail. Designed for luxury enjoyment and comfort, with family gatherings in mind. Five bedrooms and three baths, large great room, dining room with seating for twelve, gourmet kitchen with large picture windows throughout allowing plenty of natural light and ocean breezes.
Open plan great room/living room has huge sectional couch for lounging and additional seating. 55” high definition television with television service.
Gourmet kitchen with Wolf appliances, Cambria countertops and tile backsplash. Large island with Wolf range, prep sink and eating area (two barstools). Stocked with everything you need for gourmet meal preparation or casual entertaining. Gas barbeque is located in the backyard for grilling.
Primary suite on third floor has California king bed, soft brushed microfiber hypoallergenic fiberfill comforter and cotton quilt. Primary suite includes comfortable reading area, 48” flat screen television and a huge closet. Shower has view of the beach, double vanity sink. Additional private deck off primary suite with ocean view for early morning coffee or late afternoon sunsets.
Second Floor bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds, plush microfiber blankets and cotton quilts. Ample closet space.
Additional Bedroom on second floor has full sized antique bed with ample closet space.
Ground Floor West Bedroom has queen sized bed with comfy micro-fiber sheets, soft brushed microfiber hypoallergenic fiberfill comforter and cotton quilt, large closet.
Ground Floor East Bedroom has queen sized with comfy micro-fiber sheets, soft brushed microfiber hypoallergenic fiberfill comforter and cotton quilt, large closet.
Each bathroom has its own blow dryer and magnifying makeup mirror. All bathrooms feature soft, plump, over sized, 100% cotton towels.
High speed internet throughout the house.
Enjoy beautiful days at the beach, great body surfing and rinse off on your return in the outdoor shower. Close to great beach activities, sand volleyball courts, wonderful bicycle path (to Ojai, Santa Barbara or Oxnard), fishing trips, whale watching and trips to Channel Islands National Park are all available from Ventura and Channel Islands Harbors (only five to ten minutes away). Great surfing all along Ventura coast for beginners to experts.
Walking distance to several local restaurants on Seaward Avenue. Downtown Ventura has lots of great restaurants, movie theater, shopping, live theater at the Rubicon, concerts at the Majestic Ventura Theater, something for every interest. Great location as a base for day trips to Santa Barbara, Ojai Valley, Santa Ynez Valley (many wonderful wineries and tasting rooms), Reagan Library or Los Angeles.
Ventura is known for its agricultural bounty and farm to table cuisine. Several local farmers’ markets are available each week, along with great access to locally sourced fresh seafood in Ventura Harbor.
House includes three boogie boards, twelve beach chairs, a beach umbrella and assorted beach toys for your use. Beach towels, beach bag and small cooler for beach use also provided.
Two car garage with additional parking for up to three cars on site. Full sized washer and dryer located in laundry room in garage.
All rentals in Ventura subject to minimum one week rental period during summer peak season.families
