Nearby, Bideford provides both a pannier and open-air market and from the pretty quay you can enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous Oldenburg. Other attractions in the area include the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, Instow, Hartland Abbey, Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Royal North Devon Golf Club and dog friendly beaches.
