Open-plan and cosy with a wood burning stove, the sitting room has plenty of comfortable seating which overlooks the patio garden and spills into the dining area with seating for up to five guests. The modern kitchen has everything you should require including a large fridge/freezer and dishwasher so there will be no arguments over who is doing the dishes after you've cooked up a storm in the kitchen. The food hall at Snape Maltings sells an exquisite selection of local produce, as does Friday Street Farm Shop so be sure to dine at home for at least one evening during your stay. The light-filled master bedroom is spacious, boasting a king size bed and its own en-suite shower room. The two further bedrooms, bedroom two with twin single beds and bedroom three with single bed, carry on the theme of contemporary yet comfortable and share the large family bathroom. The family bathroom is modern and benefits from both a shower cubicle and bath, ideal for a quick shower before heading to the beach or hosing down the little ones in the tub after a long day of exploring the local area.
The enclosed garden at The Blue House is ideal for al fresco dining with its large patio, charcoal barbecue and outdoor dining furniture. Off-road parking is available for up to three cars so it's possible to park the car up and explore the local area on foot for a couple of days or so. Snape Maltings is within easy strolling distance of the property and there are three pubs in the village to choose from. You can also walk to Aldeburgh and further afield along the Sailors' Path.
