Morning, afternoon, and evenings are peaceful and relaxing. The view is exceptional throughout the day as the light plays on the surrounding mountains and new colors reflect off the ocean. Sleeping Arrangements
There are three beds and one comfy couch. This makes for very comfortable sleeping for five guests. We have five single camping mattresses that can be placed inside or outside making 10 the maximum number of guests.
Distance to the Beach and grocery store
This is a mountain retreat. You can see the ocean, but it's a 15 minute drive down the mountain to PCH. There is public access to the beach about 15 minute away. The nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away, so remember to bring all of the groceries you need for your stay.
This property has some neighbors nearby who stand ready to help in an emergency. Please be respectful by keeping your evening activities calm and quiet.
Driving In
Latigo Canyon is a long winding mountain road. You will be on this road for about 15 minutes. When turning into the neighborhood, there is a short stretch of narrow mountain road that can make some drivers a little nervous. It's a very short distance and it's paved, but nonetheless, please be prepared for this part of the drive.
We strongly recommend that you drive your own car or a rental car. This is a remote mountain area and your can't count on getting an Uber.
