Summary: A lovely boutique hotel right on Carlsbad’s superb beach, with amazing views & sunsets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tastefully decorated and with all necessities. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and a new surprise each day. Beach chairs, umbrellas and toys are provided. Stairways between rooms, pool, & beach may present a problem for elderly or disabled (only one of the three buildings has an elevator). I recommend the rooms with ocean views.
