Positive: The apartment was small bur very well furnished. Everything you could need to use it as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Easy transport links if you don’t want to drive. Hot tub was very welcome at the end of the day. Plenty of space during the day when the extremely comfortable bed is put away. Velux window over the bed meant we could look at the stars, although there is a blind if that’s not your thing…. The garden is beautifully kept in a rambling country cottage way and a lovely place for breakfast

Negative: Minor things…the kitchen cupboards were a bit high for me..I’m only short….and I had to reach over the cooker to get tableware out. The apartment smelt a bit must when we arrived, but it was shut up on a very hot day. This went after we’d had the doors and window open for a bit, and didn’t come back

Summary: We really loved the week there.
