A delightful, stone-built, terraced cottage dating back to 1637, on a quiet lane just a stone's throw from the centre of the pretty Lakeland village of Burton-in-Kendal. Fully refurbished, decorated and furnished to an excellent standard throughout, this cosy cottage provides warm and welcoming accommodation, with a sitting room with old beams, a gas-fired stove and two delightful bedrooms; an inviting retreat for those wishing to get away from it all and enjoy this lovely area. This is a first class cottage ideal for a romantic break and with many pretty walks and cycle routes available from the doorstep, the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks are easy to reach, as is the Arnside and Silverdale AONB and Morecambe Bay. Close by is the Lune Valley, a favourite haunt of the artist Turner, and the medieval Devil's Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale, which is well worth a visit.
