Summary: For the price reasonable hotel , beautiful old building that needs serious attention. The big disappointment was the £12 breakfast which was served by staff who were obviously told to give hungry guests the bare minimum . If you asked for what would normally be deemed as a full English breakfast they replied , sorry sir we’ve run out so you’ll have to make do with the crisp bacon unnrunny fried egg and cold beans accompanied by the barely toasted cold toast and weak tea . You could if you cared about your guests advise them to go to Wetherspoons locally for a much heartier breakfast with refillable hot drinks and a smile from there grateful staff . Maybe you could do with guidance from someone who knows how to attract repeat customers !
