For the visiting skier, Snow Summit is just a half-mile south while the Bear Mountain Ski Resort is only a couple miles southeast. For a fun day with the kids, take a trip to the Big Bear Discovery Center for educational exhibits and hands-on activities, only three miles away, or take a trip to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, just a little over two miles from your front door. And be sure to stop at Magic Mountain offering winter bobsled tracks and summer water slides.
