There are three good pubs within 100 yards, the best fish and chips anywhere, and a huge choice of restaurants, delis, cafes, galleries and independent shops of all shapes around the corner (Sainsbury's and M&S too for stocking up on provisions). A few yards in the other direction is the beach, which you will find almost empty even in Summer.
