Wake up to stunning sunrises along with the wilderness surrounding: quails, hares, roadrunners and coyotes, just to name a few of the cohabitants. Indulge in the soaring 360 degrees dramatic landscape, and flow with the peaceful, restorative tranquility of the desert.
Rise slowly, meditate, do some yoga, catch up on some reading. Entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park is just a 7 minute drive, for memorable hikes, rock climbing, fauna and flora exploration.
The unique vibrant Joshua Tree little strip of shops is a short 7 minute drive: gem store, yoga studio, coffee roaster saloon, organic café.
There is an Airstream on the property that is also used as a guest space. The Airstream and the House have their own facilities and are separated by a fence.

Summary: This house was very nice and the view was gorgeous! I went back and forth at first about booking because of the detached bedroom, but it really wasn’t a big deal at all. It’s right outside the kitchen door, both doors lock, and it has a/c. The only reason I gave four stars for accuracy is because there was no “cowboy pool” on the property. Not a huge deal though. We had a good laugh when we realized there was no tv, but to be fair, it’s not listed on the amenities. We didn’t need one either as we were all so tired from hiking each day at Joshua Tree. Speaking of Joshua Tree, the entrance (one of them) is very close to the house. We went twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday, taking breaks between trails. Don’t miss out on going there after dark to stargaze (they never close!). We captured a beautiful photo of the Big Dipper! There are so many trails to choose from with several levels of intensity. We had the windows open the whole weekend and the cross breeze was so nice. They had every basic necessity (note: there is no washer/dryer or dishwasher if that matters to you). The beds were comfortable. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We went to the Bar and Saloon and a Mexican restaurant. Both were good. All in all it was a great stay at a great house. The hosts were quick to respond. We would book again for sure.
