Fisherman can head to the Shaver Lake Marina less than four miles away and board a boat to try to bring home trout, kokaneee, bluegill, or catfish for dinner. Grab a picnic lunch from Shaver Deli and head out to Shaver Stables where you can take a morning or afternoon horseback ride along the water's edge. And if you'd like to eat indoors, head a mile-and-a-half up to Shorthorn Bar and Grill where you can enjoy live music, play some pool or cornhole, and grab a beer and a burger.
