Warmth, comfort, and alpine charm await at this log cabin in Murphys, a true Sierra escape with beautiful views of the surrounding evergreens. No matter how you spend your days, you'll be greeted back at home by front and rear decks overlooking the forest and logs crackling in the stone fireplace.
This two-story cabin sits three miles up Highway 4 from Murphys, a small mountain town full of rich Gold Rush history. Hiker, mountain biker, or winter sports enthusiast, there are countless opportunities to get outdoors. You'll be a short and scenic drive from the Forest Meadows Golf Course (less than two miles), Calaveras Big Trees State Park (12 miles), and Bear Valley Resort (34 miles), to name just a few.
The heart of the cabin is the great room, an open and lofty space with wood-paneled walls, ample seating, and a fireplace rising from floor to ceiling. It's the perfect spot to play board games, stream movies, and prepare meals together in a polished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island breakfast bar. Just beyond the French doors, you'll find a gas grill on the back deck for evening barbecues in the fresh pine air.
There are three bedrooms on the main floor, including a primary suite with its own bathroom and jetted tub. Additional features of the cabin include a sleeping loft upstairs, a washer/dryer, and central AC for the warmest summer days.
