If hiking is on the agenda, simply make your way to the Trillium Falls Trail (one mile), Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park (three miles), or the famous Redwood National and State Parks (10 miles south). Then explore the primeval ferns of Fern Canyon and the moody beaches of Northern California, and learn their secrets on a guided tour with Redwood Adventures. You can also get your fill of salty air and soft sand by following Davison Road to Golden Bluffs Beach.
