Summary: Really lovely cottage. There were some minor cosmetic things that needed addressing however, overall it was a lovely cottage. I just wish we have more time to enjoy it and the local area. For the Light the Lakes event though it was very remote, and on our part we needed to plan ahead more with our food and maybe should of had a Tesco's delivery. A couple of times we popped to the shop and it was closed. Poor timing on our part. The fan in the master double room bathroom could do with upgrading as it doesn't extract fast enough, leading to a lot of condensation. It was reported that there was a leak someone in the downstairs bathroom. The dishwashers needs some new wheels on the bottom tray so that it rolls in and out properly. The view from the cottage over the fishery and the location is lovely. The welcome pack in the kitchen was a great idea and really appreciated, as was the nice smelling hand wash in the bathrooms.
