Positive: We were only booking a base for the night and were not spending much time in the room. This was cheap, cheerful and as we expected. The bed was comfy and good size room (accommodating our ground floor request). It is nothing fancy but we didn't expect it to be, you get what you pay for.

Negative: There was a giant firework display on at Himley Hall (around the corner) the night of our stay. We are not from the area so did not know about this. This meant the access road the hotel was blocked so we had to keep driving around and around before somebody advised they would lift up the barrier. A heads up from the hotel that this was expected and direction of what we should have done / where we should have gone would have been helpful and saved time in advance.
