A peaceful and sunny 1920's cottage in the heart of downtown Ojai. One of ten original Ojai cottages tucked into the neighborhood. It feels like it's its own small village within the town. The house is set back off the street making for a quiet and private setting. The yard is brimming with unique plants, native flowers, birds and butterflies. Several seating areas and one including a fire pit. A view of the Topa Topa mountains from the outdoor dining area and a seasonal creek that runs right behind the house. Woven light fixtures placed throughout the trees for a magical evening glow.
Located within walking distance to the main street restaurants, shops, wineries and famous spas. Hiking trails just outside the back door and bike paths just a couple blocks away. The Ojai trolly stop is just around the corner.
Inside there is a working wood fireplace, original oak wood floors and brand new appliances throughout. Two nice sized bedrooms and a third bedroom / office with a large desk, monitor, scanner and printer available. One bedroom is a private suite with it's own entrance, kitchenette and outdoor seating area. A well appointed kitchen and home with many conveniences for added comfort: including Bose speaker, Google Home, ceiling fans, Bluair air purifiers etc. Laundry room with soaking sink, ironing board and steamer provided.
