The Eye of God is a well-known historical landmark and offers a fabulous view of the local area (six miles into Baldwin Lake). Getting Around: Parking & Snow Chain Requirements: We have ample parking spaces with the gates open so please pull in off the street. Street parking is not allowed whatsoever. During winter months (November-April) all vehicles, including 4x4 must always carry tire chains. Check local conditions before you travel and verify if chains will be required to drive. Ridesharing is available as well. Nothing in Big Bear is too far! Walking and bike riding are an enjoyable way to get around during the summer.
