Things to do: Located just a few minutes from the Lake Shastina Golf resort, play golf at the Robert Trent Jones Jr. 18 hole championship course or the 9 hole Scottish links course. After golf, go fishing in Lake Shastina or nearby Lake Siskiyou. Mt. Shasta Ski Resort is an easy 25 minute drive, with downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding and snow sledding. Snowmobiling, ice skating, and hiking are popular activities too. Ashland, Oregon, home to the fantastic summer Shakespear Festival and Mt. Ashland Ski Resort, is just an hour north. Restaurants, grocery stores, and all the modern conveniences are available in nearby Weed, Mt. Shasta, and Yreka.
