The stone-built 18th century converted stable accommodation is at the edge of the pretty, hillside village of Ampleforth, just a short walk from the two excellent village pubs and a delicious coffee house. Located on the edge of the North York Moors National Park & Howardian Hills AONB the area is fantastic for walks.
Alternatively, it is a short drive to the market towns of Helmsley, Malton, and Thirsk, or 20 miles to the City of York. We are also near several fascinating historic sites such as Byland Abbey, Helmsley Castle, Rievaulx Abbey, and Castle Howard to name a few.
Or you could take a stunning drive across the North York Moors to one of the seaside towns of Whitby or Scarborough or several enchanting, more secluded coastal villages.
