Far from the windy end of the desert, this house is just 1 mile from South/East Palm Springs, 7 miles from the heart of downtown Palm Springs, and just under 20 miles from the famed Coachella Music Festival Fairgrounds, so you'll be able to dive into all of the local fun without hassle. "The Cove", as it's affectionately called by locals, has an interesting mix of artists, second home owners and year-round residents.
Walk or drive to several hiking trails that meander through the low mountains that surround The Cove, protecting it from those occasionally nasty desert winds. Less than 1 mile to Trader Joe's, a theatre multiplex, the Cathedral City Agua Caliente Casino, and a short walk to great restaurants including La Tablita, Daniel's Table, Sunshine Cafe, Bonta, and Trilussa.
Our Desert Retreat is Family-Friendly. Let us know if you want access to our Graco Pack N Play or sturdy wooden high chair. We're Dog-Friendly, too; well-behaved, "pre-approved" dogs are welcome with a $150/Per Dog Fee.
You will have exclusive access to the entire house, privately fenced backyard, and driveway space for 2 vehicles. There is no garage.
Rental Policies:
You must be 25 or older to rent.
No outdoor music is allowed at any time. Music played inside cannot be heard from outside of the property as well. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.
Max 6 Occupants, Max 3 cars allowed.
Monthly guests pay actual gas and electric utility costs during stay. An Advance Utility Deposit of $1,500/month is required.
"Pre-approved", flea-free, well-behaved dogs are welcome. $150 Per Dog Fee. Official Service Dogs still need to be disclosed in advance.
Bonus: The rental rate you see includes a Damage Waiver Fee which covers up to $2,500 in unintended damage to the house during your stay (you must disclose the damage to us).
