"Tiny Tucket is divine! It felt comfortable, private, beautifully equipped and decorated with such gorgeous artworks. The bed was sublime, supportive and cozy with a premium mattress. Cookware and kitchen supplies were top quality (and a sharp kitchen knife too!). Stace was welcoming and responsive—she knows and loves this place. The skylight over the bed was a lovely bonus—we could see birds flying overhead and turn to watch kayaks paddling by. There are blinds to assure complete privacy too."
The Tiny Tucket Vibe...
The Tiny Tucket is located in a working boatyard on a private dock. You enter into a gated area, park your car in the reserved parking space and walk past the boats down to the dock. Cross the gangplank and you have arrived!
This sweet Studio home was remodeled 2 years ago with all the comforts of home. A kitchen area, nice sized fridge, stove top w/pots and pans for cooking, bathroom, shower, table and a great work space. There is a large smart TV with YouTube TV and Comcast WiFi. You can log into your amazon/netflix etc.
The leather furniture is comfortable and positioned perfectly for viewing life on the bay. Seagulls, herons, otters and an occasional seal will all pass by our doors and windows.
There is a new, very comfortable Queen Murphy bed to complete your stay.
Step outside, and walk up the spiral stairs to the large open-air deck and watch amazing sunsets, boats and paddle boarders!
There is comfy furniture and a gas/log fire table for your enjoyment. Watch boats as they head in with their catch of the day.
Things to Know:
- The gas BBQ is located steps away from the floating home next to the seawall.
- Right across the water is a place to rent boats, sea kayaks and SUPs.
- The Tiny Tucket is for 2 only... No drop in guests allowed day or night without permission from owner. Absolutely no parties.
***Sorry, no pets.
- The home is built on a cement barge and will move gently side to side on windy days, but usually does not rock. During low tide, she sits stationary on the bottom.
- The main gangplank can be steep at low tide and level at high tide.
- No bare feet in the boatyard or on the dock
- You must close and lock the parking area gate as you arrive or leave
- There is a security camera at the entry by the front door pointing away from home
- The spiral is steep. Must hold rails going up and down from the top deck. Shoes required.
