We do have speakers on the deck for music and they do an excellent job of drowning out any surrounding noise. We also provide white noise sound machines for each bedroom. View, views, views! This newly-built, single-level estate is nestled in the hills of Malibu above famous Zuma beach in the Malibu Park community, and features an open floor plan with 14 foot ceilings and an abundance of natural light. The two sets of sliders in the living and dining areas give you incredible coastal views from the moment you walk into the house and a wonderful indoor/outdoor living experience. The double-sided fireplace provides a great ambiance for entertaining and relaxing. The kitchen, which has top of the line Thermador stainless steel appliances, is fully equipped with everything you would need to make a meal, including pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, serving platters and bowls as well as a blender, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, mixer, tupperware, and much more.
This Smart Home features central AC/heat controlled by Nest thermostats, high speed Wifi, Smart TV's with streaming services, Lutron lighting throughout and a surround sound music system inside and outside. There is also a washer and dryer available for renters to use. Please note that we do have a Ring device near the front door as well as one in the backyard which are used for security purposes only. No cameras or recording devices are located inside the home.
On one side of the house nearest the kitchen, you will find a guest bedroom with a queen size bed and an adjacent full bathroom. The master bedroom and two additional bedrooms are on the other side of the house. The expansive master bedroom features coastal views, sliders leading out to the deck, a large walk-in closet, a SmartTV, and an en suite bathroom with a standalone tub and dual shower arrangement with marble slab walls. Down the hall are two guest bedrooms separated by a Jack-n-Jill full bathroom with dual sinks. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and a SmartTV, and the other has twin beds and a couch. These guest bedrooms are very spacious. All beds are covered in high quality linens, and bathrooms come equipped with plenty of plush towels and bath rugs.
The house comes stocked with shampoo/conditioner/soap for all three bathrooms, hairdryers, laundry detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. We also usually (but not always) carry ziplocs/saran/tin foil, as well as some pantry items, such as oil, spices and sugar.
The home features a 1,000 square foot deck with an outdoor dining table for 8-10 people, four chaise loungers, two large umbrellas, an additional seating area outside the master, a hot tub, and a barbecue grill. Lots of grassy areas out back for kids to run around and play.
Enjoy beach activities (surfing, boogie boarding, paddleboarding), wine tours, horseback riding and walking distance from some of the best hiking Malibu has to offer! (We provide 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, several beach towels and some sand toys). The beach is located just at the bottom of the hill (1 mile), about a 2 minute drive down or 20 minute walk. Just a couple minutes from Trancas Country Market and Point Dume Village which offer a collection of shopping and dining options to enjoy. Only a 15 minute drive to the famed Malibu Country Mart which features a mix of local boutiques, high end retail and restaurants.
