This hip area is growing in popularity thanks to chic bars and restaurants, many with river views. You will also find lovely gardens and traditional English pubs set along the Thames. Wapping also has its own marina and Tobacco Dock, where you can find food festivals and other large scale events. Another neighborhood highlight is the Thames River Police Museum, a real police station that can now be visited by appointment. Wapping is served by the Overground line of London's public transport system.
