The Captain's Quarters is a room which sits directly on the Choctawhatchee Bay. It is a Cute cottage connected to our home with soundproofing insulation with a private deck and private covered porch which sits right on the water with beautiful sunrises. You’ll also have a nice gas grill on your private covered porch. You’ll have your own private parking area.
The beach is approximately 10 minutes by car. We are 1 mile east of the mid Bay Bridge exit. We have prepared a Beach kit for you with two beach chairs, umbrella and a thermal bag to put your drinks and snacks in. If you would like a beach wagon, we can also provide that. There is a slight toll to cross the bridge to go to the beach.
Staying at the Captain‘s Quarters you are surrounded by two sides of water. We are the last home before the fresh water stream which makes the Captain’s Quarters extremely private. One of our favorite things in the morning is to watch the sunrise on the dock with a cup of coffee. We would love to have you join us.
We have four kayaks, a paddleboard, lifejackets, and floats to launch at a private beach area just steps from your door. We also have bicycles to use complementary.
