THINGS TO DO Hatfield House is a country house set in a large park, famous for being the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I. It has an array of wonderful gardens, a farm, shops and restaurants. It’s a popular choice for film crews too being close to Pinewood, Leavesden and Elstree studios with many Hollywood films being shot there. The venue also hosts year round events including exhibitions, festivals and concerts.
