Our gorgeous 3 bed 3 bath home right on the sand in South Oceanside is a dream!! A recent renovation features an upgraded kitchen with a Sub-zero refrigerator and new stove, washer and dryer, a fireplace in the living room, 3 flat screen TVs, high speed internet, tumbled marble floors, fresh paint inside & out, beautiful crown molding and custom built cabinetry throughout, custom stained glass windows, and new dual pane windows and doors. The oceanfront deck has a table and chairs for al fresco dining, and just four steps take you down to your private beach with a fire pit! And it’s a perfect beach location for kids! The Lifeguard station is practically next door! Our one car garage and assigned parking space next to it, ensures you’ll always have a safe place to park. Don’t feel like driving? The Amtrak station is a just a mile away so an easy walk or bike takes you to all Oceanside has to offer!
The City of Oceanside takes great pride in the results of its recent accomplishments (and ongoing efforts) to create a coastal gem that will soon outlive the town’s reputation as a San Diego best kept secret! The revamped Oceanside Pier area (which features a Ruby’s Restaurant at its tip -get a chocolate shake!) now has an outdoor amphitheater at which summer and weekend activities abound day and night, kiosks that provide everything from ice cream, to bike rentals, to surf gear, to t-shirts! Local restaurants range from hip and trendy, to quaint and family owned- and are available at every budget level. There are pizza stops and coffee shops, martinis bars and craft breweries, ice cream shops and movie theatres, shopping and surfing, locally produced art studios, a farmer’s market by day and street fair with music and a variety of food vendors by night (every Thursday) and of course, a local library! You’ll be over-joyed by the variety of places to choose from, and all within walking distance to your Casa Idea (Dream House) l!! Bike in the opposite direction of the Pier for eight minutes and you’ll find yourself in the in the quiet, beauty of Carlsbad! Of course, if you don’t want to walk, please feel free to take the bikes we have waiting for you on the gorgeous new bike trail that can take you from our home all the way to the Oceanside Marina- and then go fishing, or whale watching, or take a cruise, or……just have a cocktail! Oceanside is anything you want it to be!
