Pentreath offers beautiful Cornish treasures throughout the three-floor cottage. The owner has affectionately renovated this property, carefully upcycled furniture and collected stunning items from all over Cornwall making this cottage jam packed with character. The property sleeps up to six adults and three children, making it perfect for a large family.
On the ground floor you enter property into the living room, equipped with a large log burner for those colder nights and a Smart TV. Plenty of toys, boards games and DVDs are available to keep the children busy on the occasional rainy day.
Past the stairs there is large family style kitchen/dining room. Behind the table and chairs is a large blackboard offering information on local places not to be missed. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, washer/dryer and a wood burner with a pizza oven!
Through the kitchen/diner, on the way to the private courtyard you will find the ‘snug room’ with Smart TV, ideal for when the grandparents want to escape for five minutes peace. French doors lead to a quaint courtyard perfect for alfresco dining or hanging wetsuits after a day on the beach. From the snug there is a ground floor shower room.
On the first floor, the bathroom is conveniently located and benefits from a bath with over-head shower, allowing you to warm up as soon as you get in from that refreshing dip in the sea or long coastal hike. On the right, a hallway leads to the first bedroom ‘Smugglers Rest’, a specious king-size room with double wardrobe, Smart TV and table and chairs. On the other side of the hallway is the ‘Devonport’ with a children’s bunk & full-size single bed.
Follow the narrow stairs to the second floor you will find the specious ‘Nelson Room’ with a king-size bed where another Smart TV can be found, table and chairs with a shower en-suite. Opposite, you have ‘The Lookout’ a double bedroom with a private w/c and gorgeous views of the sea over the roof tops of the village
Location
This Cornish gem is situated in the heart of the old fishing village of Kingsand. At the bottom of a charming pedestrian street, you will find stunning Kingsand beach and only a short walk to traditional pubs and reputed restaurants that make this area Cornwall’s best kept secret.
Parking
The historic village does not have private parking; however, the public pay and display carpark is less than a of couple minutes’ walk away from the property.

One small well behaved pooch allowed with prior consent for an extra £20.00 per week.
Pentreath operates a Friday – Friday changeover.
