Summary: This apartment was modern, and everything was brand new. It had just opened, and we were the first guests to stay here. The view was fantastic, thanks to the wraparound deck. However, there were some inconveniences. Finding the front office was tricky since it’s located in a converted apartment. Additionally, Placemaker’s leasing office was also in an apartment rather than a standard office space. Another issue was building access. You must have a smartphone to download the Latch app, as it's the only way to enter. None of the doors were labeled to match the icons in the app, making navigation confusing. Even the elevators lacked proper markings. While we consider ourselves tech-savvy, we still found it frustrating—so this could be a major challenge for those less comfortable with technology. Parking was another downside. We had to pay for it, even though it’s typically included with a reservation. On top of that, we struggled to find the right option in the app to unlock the door to the garage. Eventually, we had to return to the leasing office, where the attendant had to manually open the back door for us. Overall, the apartment itself was great, but the access system and parking situation were frustrating. Something to keep in mind before booking!
