Nestled in the hills just south of Pittsburgh is this quiet, sweet bungalow perfect for your time in Pittsburgh. Just 10 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from the airport this convenient neighborhood is ideal for out of town visitors.
This spacious and convenient floor plan makes this home ideal for up to five guests to spread out and enjoy their time together.
After parking there are two flights of steps to the spacious front porch where you can enjoy a cup of coffee on Sunday morning while listening to the nearby church bells. Upon entering the house you’ll find a bench to remove your shoes and hooks to hang your coat. The first floor boasts high ceilings and gorgeous original built ins and trim work. There is seating for five in the living room as well as a smart tv with Netflix for you to enjoy. Just off of the living-room is the dining room with seating for four and up to six if you add in the entry bench. To complete the first floor you’ll find the kitchen just off of the dining room which is equipped with basic cooking tools, refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
From the kitchen guests can go downstairs to the basement to do some laundry or head to the backyard where we have a small two person bistro dining set.
Heading up the beautiful wooden staircase guests will find the bathroom equipped with towels, body soap and toilet paper. There are two spacious bedrooms with beautiful natural light that pours in the sizable windows. The small third bedroom also enjoys a large window with natural light and a cozy upholstered twin daybed.
The upstairs hall closet and basement closets are the only spaces on the property that are off limits. Please make yourself at home!
Please feel free to use all parts of the house except for the hall closet upstairs where we keep our supplies.
There is a washer and dryer in the basement where we wash the linens for the house. There may still be a load in the dryer but feel free to put it on top of the dryer if you need to use it.
Quiet hours are between 9pm and 9am.
We do not allow parties. This is a quiet family neighborhood and we strive to respect our neighbors. Any complaints of loud music, smoking, garbage, parties or more than two cars will be reported to Airbnb and we will keep the security deposit.
Also, there are two flights of stairs to get into the home.
