This property has something for everyone! Take in gorgeous mountain vistas from every room, watch the sunset from the roof deck with 360 degree views, soak in the hot tub...the Great Room is made for socializing, and even doing dishes is a pleasure as you gaze at the mountains! Our house is built in the style of a Mexican Hacienda, with saltillo tile floors, wrought iron detailing, and fountains. This beauty was created 37 years ago so there is wear and tear: expect a loved home and not a new hotel. This is not a party or event house.

Here's a little tour of our home...
In the entry foyer you are greeted by a tropical fish aquarium and an indoor fountain. Turn in to the Great Room, where cooks can converse with folks at the living area seating or at the dining table, or gaze out at the view of the terrace and mountains beyond.
The spacious Master suite on its own wing has a cozy adjoining office with TV that can also serve as a peaceful retreat. A spacious bathroom and a large walk-in closet rounds out the suite.
For the book aficionado, floor to ceiling books are sure to keep you entertained in the Library. It’s a gathering place for other entertainment too, with a toy and game cupboard and TV.
The east wing consists of two lovely guests rooms with their own bathrooms. Sliding glass doors let in plenty of sunshine and provide easy access to the terrace and the pool.
From the main entry a spiraling staircase climbs to the Tower Room, with 3 Twin beds and ensuite bathroom. Continue up to the roof top deck with 360 degree views and a cocktail table and chairs. Enjoy it during your morning coffee or evening drinks.
From the main terrace, descend the honeysuckle-bordered stairs to arrive at the swimming pool level. Here there is ample space for poolside lounging, and lunchtime is always a pleasure at the picnic table under the shade of a rose covered trellis. The hot tub is built in, allowing for quick refreshing dips into the main pool. Or at night simply gaze up at the stars! Note: swimming pool is not heated or heatable.
Out beyond the pool gates explore the vineyard, currently undergoing a rebirth from just Tempranillo, a Spanish varietal, to a "field blend" of Tempranillo, Merlot and Malbec. Beyond the vineyard enjoy the Five Oaks trail that takes you to visit the Valley Oak trees with a bench to relax under each one.
Return to the shaded portico on the terrace, and, with the gentle sound of the fountain, relax on an inviting seating sectional. A three-burner grill lives on the patio along with dining table seating.
The house is minutes away from everything in the Valley...sample wines at numerous wineries, hike in the Los Padres National Forest, bike along scenic roads, or enjoy a beer with locals at the Maverick Saloon. For shoppers and art enthusiasts, the quaint nearby towns of Santa Ynez (5 min), Los Olivos (7 min) and Solvang (9 min) make for enjoyable outings. And for people who just want to lounge, our house is the place. This is not a party or event house.

NOTE: In compliance with the Santa Barbara County ordinance, a caretaker lives on site in a separate studio with its own access and not sharing any of the house or amenities. Short term stays are available for 6 guests plus children. Please inquire regarding additional children's bedroom. Nine persons allowed for 30 days or more.
