Summary: Small, but beautiful and authentic Japanese home in the centre of the Kiyomizu-dera district, a short walk from the temple and the Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka pedestrian streets. Ceilings are low and the house can be a bit cold in some rooms during winter, but there is efficient sufficient heating in all bed and living rooms and overall cleanliness and living standards are high. In all, a far greater experience than staying in a classic hotel. Highly recommended!
