The house has been fully renovated and designed specifically for travelers. Everything from roof to floor including new paint, furniture and flooring throughout. It’s relaxing homey feel reflects the era with modern conveniences. Come and enjoy this unique and special home.
There is no noise from traffic and there are stunning views of the local mountains and golf course. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and we have wonderful neighbors who we are close friends with and don't wish to upset.
The City is very strict about enforcing their ordinances and will give heavy fines and evict guests that do not follow them. They will also fine us and cancel our license to operate:
No Parties or loud noise, music etc both inside and outside. We have NoiseAware software installed that will advise you if sound levels are too high and protect you and us from false complaints. There are also security cameras on all property entrances to monitor people coming and going. These do not invade your privacy.
- Only 3 cars are allowed and these must be parked at all times in the garage or on the driveway.
- No street parking.
- No trash and mess outside of the home. Trash collection happens on Fridays very early.
If you wish to heat the pool to a warmer temperature then you can choose to put on the gas heater. It will take the gas heater about 12 hours to heat the pool and 2 hours to heat the hot tub depending in the start temperature and how warm you want it. The cost is about $75-100 a day to heat the pool (+ a $25 surcharge for the initial heat on the first day) If you just want to heat the spa which seats up to 6 people and is what most people do in winter, so a 3 hour soak costs around $10 - 35 per session. Pool must be heated for the entire stay but the spa can be used a few hours at a time on demand.

Our pool guy comes every Tuesday and Friday. He has his own key and will let himself in and out of the back yard. He cleans the pool and checks the equipment. If you have any questions, ask him.

Our home was featured on HGTV's House Hunters: Picky in Palm Springs! The episode is actually about the purchase of our second home in Palm Desert but this house features in the scenes where we are deciding which house to buy (I am wearing a blue sweater) and shows the kitchen.
This bungalow has a great floor plan. It has a large open living area with lots of space for relaxing both inside and out. There are 3 bedrooms including the master that looks out over the private swimming pool. It's a private retreat. There are 2 renovated bathrooms. The Kitchen is new and modern. There is a separate and private home office with desk, chair, printer and desk light as well as a comfy space to sit and read. The perfect place for remote work.
The resurfaced swimming pool is huge (14' x 35')! There is a large spa for relaxing. The front garden is private and has desert-scaping and a sitting area and is a great place to watch sunset, the side yard has grass and an outdoor dining area lit with string lights and the backyard has the swimming pool and poolside deck and pergola with oversized furniture. The swimming pool is cleaned twice a week plus it has a pool vacuum.

The location is great as it's just 6 miles from the heart of Palm Springs. The style is mid-century with 1440 sq .feet of living space inside, and a lot that is 7500 sq. feet. The interior was designed by a UCLA educated Interior Architect.
The neighborhood
Cathedral Cove is a small area on the south side of the Hwy 111 nestled between the mountains. It is a small exclusive neighborhood that is far enough away from main roads and the airport that there is no noise at all. No street lights dispel the dark so the stars shine brightly at night. It is quiet and peaceful and the neighbors are all good friends. This is a great place for an escape and relaxation. This is definitely not a party house.
We think the location is great. The Coachella Valley is a great place to escape from daily life. There is so much to see and do. Dining at local restaurants is wonderful. The house is located close to some of the best restaurants in the area. There is also golf, hiking, biking, shopping, and sightseeing nearby. You can also take advantage of one of the many festivals that happen on an annual basis in the desert. But, if you just want to relax and unwind in your own private oasis, you have found the perfect place to do it. We have a large front and back yard that is completely private, you can not see a neighbor! There is outdoor dining available and a barbecue for your use. The pool area has ample lounge chairs so that everyone can enjoy the sun. The weather in the Coachella Valley is fantastic. There are more sunny days than most places in the country.
