DEE DOW RANCH -This is an extraordinary Scandinavian inspired modern farmhouse. Set in the upper hills of the Ojai Valley overlooking the magnificent Topa Topa Mountain range, which produces a nightly pink and fuchsia light show spectacle. This luxurious modern masterpiece has been undertaken with a deep respect for Ojai and a sense of understated modern style. The Dee Dow Ranch was designed as a family friendly indoor-outdoor experience. It has a remarkable sense of light and space with its soaring ceilings, vast amounts of glass and beautiful retracting doors throughout the two spaces, (the Main House and the Guest Cabana).
There is a comfortable living room seating area facing the expansive views and a large fireplace that divides it from the state-of-the-art kitchen and indoor dining area for 12. The dream kitchen opens out to the patio with an additional covered outer living and dining space. The park-like grounds (10 acres) are equipped with a tennis court, 55’ private pool and large hot tub, playground, bocce ball court and sports lawn. The property is near a variety of stunning hiking trails. A short stroll will take you to a neighboring organic farm where fresh produce gets plucked right out of the ground on request! These features make this an ideal destination for a variety of interests including bird, deer and bunny watching, hiking/exercising or simply lounging in the pool. There are plenty of sunny spots for open-air dining or pure relaxation and contemplation. With 360 degree unobstructed mountain views, the sunsets are spectacular here. There are two terraced decks on opposite sides of the pool that draw the guest bungalow and the main house into a beautiful symmetry of communal space. The property also features a fire pit and lounge areas for family gathering and roasting of s’mores.
MAIN HOUSE - Four bedrooms are featured in a separate wing of the house, all with plenty of space in between. Each bedroom features its own uniquely designed separate bathroom and captures its own beautiful private view. There are 4 bedrooms along this wing, one of which is a kid’s room featuring 2 incredibly comfortable bunk beds sleeping 4 total. Also in this wing is a cozy screening lounge with a digital projector and 120” screen with surround-sound for movie nights.
GUEST CABANA HOUSE - This is a unique space, constructed using the rock excavated from the property. The sleek architectural design combined with organic earthy materials and an inviting vibe makes it its own getaway. There is a small kitchenette, from which guests may be served during pool time or cocktail hour. A beautiful rock bathroom, which may be the best on the property, opens out to an outdoor shower. A queen pull down bed that folds up to make your space roomier during the day. Views are in abundance from both wide retracting doors on each side of the bungalow making it the ideal pavilion for an afternoon massage. You can be one with nature almost entirely.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES -This home is hi-tech with audio sound throughout the property inside and out all controlled with an I-Pad so it would be helpful to have at least 1 “techy” in your group if you choose to use these features. Wi-Fi covers both structures and outside too. Also enjoy several TV’s with DIRECTV, Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV.
DISCLOSURE NOTICE: We have exterior security cameras in place as we are in a rural area on 10 acres and like to keep the property secure. These cameras are all outdoor perimeter-pointing cameras. We do not have any inside the home except 1 in the front glass hallway looking out at the front door entrance.

POOL HEAT- We can heat the pool $175- $300 per day(seasonal) with a one day heat up fee prior to your stay to ensure that the pool is up to temperature.
