SEAS THE DAY is the perfect retreat for a small vacationing family, two couples, or for an extended work / play adventure or temporary housing between homes. It’s seated in center of the idyllically quiet, gated community of Monarch Hills within the luxurious larger community of Ritz Point. Walk to the beach, Dana Point Harbor, Dana Point Headlands, The Ocean Institute, shops, and restaurants! SEAS THE DAY is located on a hill above all of these amazing local attractions so it is best to have a vehicle.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Sleeps 6 comfortably. Two in a king-size bed in the primary bedroom with en-suite and 2 in a second king-size bed in the secondary bedroom. It’s like having 2 primary bedrooms! the The sofa converts into a queen size bed.
KITCHEN & DINING: Fully outfitted kitchen! Tons of light! Cute bistro table with 2 chairs, new appliances, solid surface countertops, and bright white refinished cabinets make for easy meal preparation. The separate dining room adjacent to the kitchen seats 6 comfortably and is perfect for entertaining or hosting a game night with your friends and family during your stay.
FAMILY ROOM: This spacious gathering room offers a very comfortable, oversized sofa with chaise lounge and a comfy side chair. A work desk has been provided in case there’s any ‘pressing business’ that requires your attention. A large flat screen TV is also provided above the gas fireplace to complete the room.
OUTDOORS: Plenty of seating on the wrap around balcony! With access from the family room, kitchen, and primary bedroom it’s a great space for entertaining or just enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. An electric BBQ has been provided. There is a full-size washer and dryer in a separate closet off the balcony near the primary bedroom. This special vacation hideaway offers a single covered parking stall for 1 car. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas provided for your use.
MANAGEMENT: Very clean and professionally managed. Vacation Concierge is available 24/7 for any questions, issues or concerns that come up during your stay.

LOCATION: Dana Point is a city located in southern Orange County, California. It has one of the few harbors along the Orange County coast, and with ready access via State Route 1 (the famous Pacific Coast Highway or PCH). Dana Point and surrounding communities of Laguna Beach and San Clemente are popular local destinations for surfing.
ATTRACTIONS: SEAS THE DAY is just up the road from the O.C. Dana Point Harbor and downtown Dana Point. Located towards the northern section of Dana Point referred to as ‘Monarch Beach’, it is just a short 15 minute drive into the beautiful and 'artsy' seaside town of Laguna Beach. It’s also convenient and within a short 15-minute drive (or a 30 minute bike ride for the more adventurous types) from the historic San Juan Capistrano where the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the quaint Los Rios District is surrounded with charming antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There’s even a petting zoo for the smaller members of your family!
The city was named after the headland of Dana Point, which was in turn named after Richard Henry Dana, Jr author of ‘Two Years Before the Mast’, which included a description of the area. Dana described the locale, including neighboring San Juan Capistrano, as "the only romantic spot on the coast". Although Dana described the anchorage as poor, it is now a developed harbor and contains a replica of his ship, the Pilgrim. The Pilgrim is used as a classroom by the Ocean Institute, which is located at the harbor.
