SkyRanch was created by a well-known (and, yes, edgy...) film producer and a prominent screenwriter. This innovative couple used this dramatic setting for film maker retreats. American Psycho was not written here, but a number of their other films were. Renowned actors and directors have all enjoyed the creative vibes and monumental skylines of this comfortable and expansive 5-bed, 4500 square foot desert house.
The space:
SkyRanch is an art lover’s paradise. Each room is a different experience of color and style. The giant one-way mirrored windows throughout ensure you are connected to the desert yet invisible from the outside. Not that you’d need to worry however, the expansive 5 acre property offers unobstructed sweeping views of the horizon and peace and quiet.
The exterior boasts plenty of parking and a wrap around patio complete with massive covered area perfect for yoga, meditation or just getting reprive from the hot desert sun while still enjoying the outdoors. A stand alone outdoor vintage wood burning fire place is a sublime place for s’mores or keeping warm while you watch the stars.

Other things to note:
The pool area features a modern in-ground pool with an integrated hot tub. Heating for the hot tub is included in your rental. Should you wish to have the pool heated during the cooler season, please notify us in advance of your arrival as there will be a supplemental charge of $180 per day for this service due to excessively high fuel costs in this area. (If you are arriving in the warmer months, there is obviously no need to heat the pool!)
Please note that beds 3 & 4 in the images are in a unique Double Bedroom layout that is one large room divided by an enclosed full bathroom. Please see the photo of the floorplan in our listing for details.
