Summary: The hotel is in an excellent location, which was really great for us! Unfortunately our room was in the basement so it didn’t get a lot of light and the room was very sparse and a little tired looking. But it was very clean! The beds were very comfortable and we got a really good night’s sleep. I’m sure the rooms higher up the building were better and brighter! The staff were friendly, but we didn’t have a lot of interaction as we ate breakfast out. The building and neighbourhood is very beautiful, but it would be nice if they invest in a bit of updating of the furnishings. Saying that, our stay was very reasonably priced for the area. Overall, I would recommend (just check in easily to avoid the basement!!)
