The Ganja Getaway is a vacation rental cottage on our family farm. The farm has been in our family since 1934. The cottage was built by Grandpa Charlie, a bootlegger during prohibition who moved to California after prohibition was repealed and bought the land here with his gangster money.
We were a medical cannabis farm during the medical era and after legalization we became a tourist destination for 420 travelers.
Our semi off grid farm has that 1970s California ganja farm vibe: the halcyon days of analog music, beautiful groovy free human beings, and rock n roll rebellion.
The cottage features an old school stereo system, and an extensive vinyl collection, and is full of rock memorabilia and cannabis prohibition memorabilia.
Perfect as a couples retreat or a party of four.
Come visit our farm on historic California's Pacific Coast Highway 1, smoke a fat joint and listen to some killer vinyl in a beautiful natural setting!
NOTE: this is an antique farmhouse built before there was even electric power lines in the area. it is still mostly off grid (there is electricity and wifi), water comes from our well, and it has a very old septic system so toilet paper goes in the trash. do not flush it. The place is one step above glamping. it is not suitable lodging for severely disabled or elderly with mobility issues.
