This is a one-of-a-kind desert home located on five private acres, with great views and plenty of outdoor space. Part of the house newly upgraded with vinyl flooring and a fresh paint! Halfway to Las Vegas, 20 miles east of Barstow.
The perfect desert retreat to explore or relax. Experience the serene landscape, breathtaking views, magical sunsets and eye opening starry nights.
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is surrounded by fencing. . This is the perfect place for hosting a getaway weekend for a group of friends, couples or family. There are neighbors out there, but they are far enough away to provide much privacy. There is a guest house on the property, but it is not available for use.
You will find 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, 1 with a full size bed. One bathroom in the master, and one bathroom in the hall for guests. There is also a game room that has a fold out couch. The home has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, and a bar-b-q outside..
While we do accept pets, UPON APPROVAL, we also have a Pet Policy and a refundable cleaning deposit. And we would also like to know what kind of pet you have and how large they are, long/short hair, temperament for our review.
The home has forced heat and air conditioning, or evaporative cooler, to make you comfortable anytime of the year. There is even a wood stove for the cozy winter nights.
The large front porch area is wonderful to sit while you relax with your morning cup of coffee. When you step outside at night, you will be able to see the moon and sparkling stars in the clear, dark sky while enjoying the outdoor firepit (smores are a popular choice!). On the five acres you can enjoy enclosed ATV rides, hitting golf balls across the dry lake or simply relaxing at your own pace.
This home is located two miles off the popular Route 66 Historic drive. Several OHV areas nearby. Lots of Desert exploring: Calico Ghost Town, Afton Canyon, Lava Beds and much more. We have books to help exploring
At our home, you can expect:
No Wifi (sorry, part of the remote location, more peaceful!) but it available across the street at the Drifting Sands Cafe or if you have a 'hot spot' or other connections.
