Positive: Collection of keys was straightforward, the beds were comfortable with toppers on. The cottage had everything we needed, was great having a washing machine The location was beautiful, we love wales so much and was the perfect place to go and explore the waterfalls and mountains.

Negative: The cottage is very old and rustic, so this time of year it was incredibly Cold. The radiators weren’t overly warm and the water tank didn’t fill up enough to have a bath. Certain parts of the cottage need some attention, curtain poles were hanging off the walls, I understand it’s old and dated but things still need to be maintained. The cleaning of the cottage is done by a local business, unfortunately the cottage was very dusty and spiderwebs were hanging from the ceilings and were in all window frames. The bathroom tiles could have done with a good bleach or spray of viakal. When the fire is lit the bedroom above gets incredibly Smokey, not great if you have asthma. It’s such a shame as the cottage has so much charm and is in such a lovely location but just needs a bit of attention and would be lovely.
