Positive: It was definitely scenic. Beautiful views, and the inside was cute as well. I really loved the doors to all the rooms, a great piece of history. The beds were also comfortable. It had plenty of space for my family. The staff was super sweet and even left a birthday card for my son.

Negative: The grounds could definitely use some love. They have a guy on staff, but they might want to hire more people to help him out. The a/c in the living room area wasnt working and even though a lady showed up to help, the staff brought in a portable a/c with no ventilation on it so it just blew out hot air all night. Then my husband talked to the staff about adding a vent to it. The staff did it but put it through an open window so then bugs came into all the rooms..lol The area carpets and dining chairs are old and stained. The kitchen did have a few bugs, but nothing to be super alarmed by. It is near wildlife, so insects sometimes find their way in. The kitchen had no a/c, definitely warm in there, too.
