This peaceful retreat nestled amongst the trees offers the best of all worlds - breath-taking views of the Ojai Valley through walls of glass, privacy and seclusion, and a five minute drive to vibrant downtown Ojai (and only 1.5 hours from Los Angeles).
From the gorgeous, one-in-a-million views of the valley to the feeling of calm that washes over you in the quiet hillside location, this retreat was built to rest your mind and restore your soul.
This charming 60s ranch home (no stairs!) contains spacious rooms and a wonderfully easy layout with almost 2000 square feet of house. Watch the gorgeous sunrise and sunsets from the two outdoor patios lining the house (and keep an eye out for the local deer that like to stop by the yard!). Or, if you feel like staying in, watch the sunsets just as easily from the large living room or sunroom/office. For those of you who want to get cozy, put a vintage LP (Dean Martin? Opera? John Denver?) on the available record player in the living room or pop a movie into the DVD player and relax. There's even an organ in the living room for those who are feeling musically inspired. For the readers in the group, the bookcase in the sunroom/office is well stocked full of books of all kinds, from fun pulp novels to political discourses on historical world leaders.
Each of the spacious bedrooms has a wonderfully calm atmosphere conducive to getting some real rest. The master bedroom has a king bed with a sliding door directly to the outdoor patio. The two guest bedrooms each have queen beds and their own overhead fans to produce a light, cool breeze should you want it.
For your meals, enjoy a luxurious breakfast from the fun breakfast area off the kitchen or, if you choose, host a formal dinner in the separate dining room. Views continue to amaze from both eating areas.
