There is a purpose-built office with fiber broadband and a fully enclosed garden, perfect for children or pets.
The house is in a quiet residential area with pleasant neighbours so is not suitable for parties.
The space
Tortoise Haven is newly refurbished, and perfect for longer stays. The kitchen was completely replaced in 2023 by a keen cook so has all the pans and appliances you may need. Downstairs is open-plan and feels spacious with an office containing a desk and a day-bed giving a sleeping area for 2 if needed.
Upstairs there is a large master bedroom a substantial double bedroom with a desk and a smaller single room. The single bedroom has a cabin bed with a pull-out desk.
There is an open front and an enclosed back garden. There is a tortoise that lives in the back garden and can be seen, during the warmer months, chewing on foliage, feel free to interact or not as you wish. During the winter she will be hibernating.
The street is quiet and friendly with a children's play area and dog walking area 100m away.
We are keen readers so you'll find there are lots of books to choose from and we encourage you to take one with you if you're in the middle of it when you leave, equally if you want to leave one you have finished for the next guest we'd love to see what you enjoy.
