The lodge is beautifully equipped inside and out to provide a comfortable, relaxing place to stay just 5 minutes drive from the stunning Widemouth Bay and 10 minutes’ drive from beautiful Bude.
Treetop Lodge has 2 bright and airy bedrooms, 2 jungle themed contemporary bathrooms with Rain Forest showers, double glazing and central heating, making it a cosy home from home all year ‘round.
Independently owned and operated by your hosts, our lodge benefits from one of the very best pitches on the excellent Hedley Wood Holiday Park, which means our guests can benefit from the superb facilities in the new-for-2023 £7million luxury leisure venue including indoor pools, Jacuzzi, Sauna and an exclusive, members-only ‘Country Club’-themed restaurant and bar. Please note there is a separate charge for use of the pool and spa facilities.
Hedley Wood is situated in a precious jewel of woodland nestling on the Devon / Cornwall border, with Bude’s magnificent 3 beaches close by, the spectacular Widemouth Bay and its famous surf only 10 minutes’ drive away.
Treetop Lodge is a premium modern 2 bedroom holiday home with contemporary styling and a restful, neutral colour palette throughout. The lounge has two comfortable sofas so you can relax and unwind while enjoying the TV or listen to your own favourite sounds via the built-in Bluetooth speaker system. We also provide unlimited WiFi included in your price. You can buy passes for the swimming pools, jacuzzi and steam room at the park's reception desk.
The lodge's open plan kitchen offers a full sized gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave along with plenty of worktop space so that even mealtimes can be like a home from home. There are also integral dishwasher and washing machines.
You’ll find comfy patio furniture outside on the spacious deck, which is a perfect space for al-fresco dining or just kicking back and watching the sun going down over the sea (on a clear day!).
We’ll have the beds freshly made for you when you arrive, and we supply fresh towels too.
• A note for guests staying at Treetop Lodge during the Winter
Please note that while the Hedley Wood Holiday Park now remains open all year round and our guests can enjoy staying here at any time, the Swimming Pool, Steam Room and Bar / Restaurant facilities are closed from 1st December to 28th February. We appreciate that this is disappointing for some of our guests, but others find the park a welcome oasis of peace and quiet during the winter months. While Hedley Wood’s Leisure Venue is closed, the rest of Bude is most certainly open for business. Please feel free to contact us direct if you would like any further details.
