Five miles away from town, meander down a dirt gravel road to take in the country life. Enjoy the occasional visits of wildlife including deer, fox, skunks, bunnies, bears and coyotes. Your welcomed to the property with a long driveway that displays some old time equipment. The handmade deck is large enough where you can bring your musical instruments and get your creative inspirations going or just sit back and watch the stary night sky's. Out front there is a horseshoe pit, firepit, and BBQ for your enjoyment. The house is roomy with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and open concept between kitchen and Livingroom area that has two sitting areas. We also have five extra cots for single sleeping arrangement to put in the living room or on the deck, just notify the host if you need the cots. The owner is very interested in talking about Foresthill and its history. Tall pine, oak and fir trees surround us. Enjoy the sounds of the forest and rural life. Sugar Pine Lake and MorningStar Lake are just a few miles away if you want to go for a hike or just sit by the water or paddleboard but you need to supply your own paddleboard. In the winter get ready for some snow ball fights ! We occasionally have deep snow so you will need a way to access the property (4 wheel drive/ chains as long as the rural road has been plowed) If the power goes out during winter we have a back up generator and a nice cozy wood stove. Bring your marshmallows and have some fun at "TrUe Country"
For Smaller weddings or Group events: There is enough room to set it up at TrUe Country. You just need to bring your own supplies/food, etc.. On the same property if more space is needed, we also have a separate studio that has 2 queen beds 1 full bath , and trailer with a queen bed and pull out single sofa and one full bath listed on Airbnb (just ask the hose for the links).
